Planning Your Print Order




To better assist you, please call us first to discuss and plan your project.

Your work can be submitted to us in a variety of ways. Send your original unframed artwork by Registered Insured Mail. You may also send 4"x 5" or 8"x 10" color transparencies of your art. These should be professionally produced by photographers experienced with museum quality photography. 35mm slides are not acceptable. Don't apply protective coatings to your artwork prior to photography (to prevent glare). Please be aware that slight color shifts are inevitable with transparencies and reproductions will reflect the image produced by the transparency. Be sure to send us the original transparency (not a copy). Each successive generation or copy degrades the image further.

We also accept digital TIFF files on a Zip, Jaz, Syquest, CD-Rom or DVD disk formatted for Apple Macintosh. Images should be sent to us in RGB mode, at 100% of final output size, 300 dpi resolution.

Scheduling - Standard turnaround time depends on the number of prints in the edition, the artwork submitted, proofing requirements, and our current work-load. Please allow a minimum of one week for color proofing, followed by a week for printmaking and post coatings. If timing is of critical concern, please contact us early, so that we can work out a convenient due date or even schedule a partial, rush shipment for your event.
