Giclée Sizes & Pricing

Individual Services:

Set-up & System Time: First-time Giclée printmaking requires a standard $50 set-up charge. Set-up charges on re-orders are waived. Any image clean-up, digital alteration (including signature removal), studio work or special color correction requiring system time is billed at $25 per quarter hour.

Print Sizes: Any size print, or combination of sizes of the same image, can be made up to 50" wide. However, some sizes are subject to media type available. Prices are for final print size including appropriate pleasing borders. 1-1/2"- 2" borders are typical. Odd sizes will be priced at the next larger size.

Protective U.V. coating: optional at $15 per print ($20 for larger print sizes).

Fine Art Proof Set: A scaled down image or portion of an image, approximately 8" x 10" is printed at calibrations which we believe are closest to optimal. Some color matching may require additional proofs - $50 per additional proof set. Proofing is provided free on orders over 10 prints. Adtech Communications, Inc., will retain the final accepted signed proof for future editions. Prints produced without proofs are delivered "as is".

Archiving: Final approved image is archived to CD-ROM for future reproductions - $10 per image up to 650 Mb.

Deckled edges: add $10 per print.

Typesetting: Descriptive text positioned below the image such as captions, titles, etc. are charged at $10. We use Palatino, but please specify preference if any.

We are proud of our In-House Printing and Graphics Studios which house state-of-the-art Giclée printmaking and imaging equipment. All of our reproductions are produced and printed on a variety of the world's finest imported and domestic acid-free, pH neutral archival papers and 100% cotton canvas. All have been selected for their substantial weights, esthetics and long image-life expectancy that give the look and feel of the original paintings. Every print is meticulously hand inspected and is guaranteed to be of the highest workmanship.

We use the latest in micro-piezo printing technology and long-life fade-resistant archival pigments to produce our prints. Extensive research has been conducted on the life and fade resistance of these inks and with proper care and lighting, these prints can retain their image quality for well over 100 years and in some cases 200-300 years.

As with all art, we must express caution however, that we cannot be responsible for fading or other damage to these works caused by careless or imprudent exposure to direct sunlight or by improper handling once the works are shipped.

Shipping: Your Giclée prints are securely boxed and shipped via Federal Express, UPS, U.S. Mail or Courier. Acid free paper is used for interleafing between each print. Original art is returned Registered Insured U.S. Mail when requested. All shipping and handling charges will be billed to the customer, or, if you have a Federal Express account, please provide the account number at the time of order.

All prices described are retail prices. Prices do not included shipping and handling charges or applicable California State Sales Tax. Unless special arrangements have been made in advance, all prints are shipped unmatted, unframed and unstretched. Sorry, no C.O.D.s. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Terms: All orders must include 50% deposit with the balance due before shipping. We accept Visa and MasterCard. If you pay by personal check, please allow sufficient time for clearing. California State Sales Tax is added to all orders shipped within the state unless a valid Resale Certificate is presented when ordering. All prices are subject to change without notice.

Limits of Responsibility: For your protection, we are bound to maintain strict confidentiality. All images received will be handled with care and with strict adherence to any copyright concerns. Submitting a print, film, transparency, negative or original artwork to Adtech Communications, Inc. for printing, scanning, or other handling constitutes an agreement by the client that any damage or loss by Adtech Communications, Inc., will entitle the client to replacement with a like amount of film, print or raw material. Adtech Communications, Inc.'s liability ends with the shipping of the order. Any claims for loss should be made with the shipping carrier.
